She’s written fictionalized versions of her oh-so-original and crazy life, called French Twist, French Toast, and now her newest, French Fry, out today! Way better than “French fries, French dressing, and French bread (and to drink—Peru!)” (Name that movie and you win…well, props, anyway.) Read the rest of this entry

Wowsers. Ever watch someone go through amazing contortions to get out of mentioning something that makes them uncomfortable? I just watched a magazine do it. So amazing. I mean, it was a total fail, but it was amazing to witness.
I should start from the beginning, shouldn’t I? Okay. Yesterday I cracked open the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, as I do every Friday evening. I actually still receive the print copy, as I have ever since the magazine’s debut back in…what was it…1990? So I’ve seen a lot of trends come and go within its pages, but never an omission as egregious and blatant as the one in this week’s issue. Read the rest of this entry
Hold everything! For 24 precious hours, my Hollywood-set rom com, Unscripted, is the romance Kindle Daily Deal at Amazon! Ninety-nine paltry cents, people!
I don’t want to hear anything about trying to wean yourself off impulse buys—now is not the time! Now is the time to do a one-click buy and start laughing at TV producer Faith’s misadventures and sighing over her love interest, Mason, a hottie college professor. Yes, there may be tweed jackets with elbow patches involved. I can say no more. Go! Find out for yourself!
And here’s more info if you need it:
Happy March! I won’t say “happy spring” because I’m up to my eyeballs in snow and single-digit temperatures. I hope it’s different where you are, but for me…firmly convinced spring will never come. I’ve accepted it: The U.S. Northeast has got itself a permanent winter.
However, something is thawing my frozen heart (if not my frozen nose)… Read the rest of this entry
Once upon a time…
…there were four fairy-tale princesses. They were all very different, but each was very special in her own unique way.
Welcome to this stop on ChickLitChat’s Fairy Tale Fun Blog Hop, part of the ChickLitLove celebration going on all week! Glad to have you here! Let’s talk a princess or two…or how about four? And then I’ll let fill you in on how to win some goodies! Read the rest of this entry
It’s official! Got it right here in a pile of pixels to prove it. My fifth romcom, and the third in my small-town Marsden series, Lucky for You, will be published later this year!
And if you haven’t visited Marsden yet, you can do it now—for cheap! The first in the series, Down on Love, is only 99 cents, and the second, Picture This, is $1.99, all e-formats. Get ’em while they’re hot!
Apologies! Apologies all around—I haven’t posted here in forever. All my fault, because I have been working on my next book! Yaaaayyy! But that’s off to the publisher, and now it’s time to turn to other matters.
Like…my two Marsden books are part of Kensington/Lyrical’s January sale! Yaaaayyyy again! So if you like fun, funny, romantic, and heartwarming small-town stories, here are two, for cheap—Down on Love (Marsden #1) is 99¢, and Picture This (Marsden #2) is $1.99, all e-formats. Can’t beat that! So get ’em while they’re cheap, because pretty soon…there’ll be Marsden #3! [Insert evil laugh here.]
Yeah, I said it. “Cyber Monday”—big woop. How about Cyber Month? Yep, starting today, for the entire month of December, my Hollywood-set rom-com, Unscripted, is on sale for 99 cents, all e-formats. What a deal, and you don’t have to grab it within 24 hours. See? I’m always thinking of you guys.
What’s it like? Like a 4.5-star rating on Amazon and Barnes and Noble, plus it’s #1 on two Goodreads lists: Best Beta Heroes in Contemporary Romance and Tweed: Professor Heroes of Romance. Yes, that means it’s got a hot, low-key college professor. Interested? Our heroine, Faith, sure was.
Here’s more info:
Faith “Freakin’” Sinclair probably shouldn’t have called her boss a perv…or grabbed his “privates.” But as creator of the hit dramedy Modern Women, she’d had enough of his sexist insults. Now she’s untouchable in the industry—not in a good way. The only way to redeem herself is to convince Alex, the wildly popular, wildly demanding former star of her show, to come back. But there’s one obstacle in her way—one very handsome, broad-shouldered obstacle…
Professor Mason Mitchell is head of the theater department where Alex is studying “real” acting. The only way he’ll let Faith anywhere near Alex is if she agrees to co-teach a class. It’s an offer she can’t refuse—and as it turns out, the professor just might end up teaching Faith that there’s more to life than work—and that real-life love scenes are way more fun than fake ones….
If you’re up for it, and you have 99 of these…
