Unscripted high resIt must be contagious—my Hollywood-set rom com, Unscripted, is now on sale for $1.99 for Kindle, Nook, and iBooks! Go for it—you can find that much in your couch cushions! All the linkies are here!

Praise:

Fab Fantasy Fiction: ★★★★★ “More than fun, it’s touching….Definitely five thumbs up.”

FicWishes: ★★★★ “Irreverent, unpredictable, and just what I needed”

Tina “Coffee and Books”: ★★★★ “This book is such a joy to read.”

Nash Nordin: ★★★★ “I was hooked from the very beginning.”

Ripe for Reader: ★★★★ “An absolute fun read!!”

Tome Tender: ★★★★ “A completely enchanting, entertaining and wonderful read.It had me laughing out loud and rooting for the quirky Faith till the end.”

Jersey Girl Book Reviews: ★★★★ “Enough drama, crazy antics, romance, and laugh-out-loud moments that will keep you thoroughly entertained!”

Blurb-a-roonie, just in case you need more convincing:

One of Hollywood’s hardest working women is about to discover there’s a lot more drama behind the camera than in front of it…

Faith “Freakin’” Sinclair probably shouldn’t have called her boss a perv…or grabbed his “privates.” But as creator of the hit dramedy Modern Women, she’d had enough of his sexist insults. Now she’s untouchable in the industry—not in a good way. The only way to redeem herself is to convince Alex, the wildly popular, wildly demanding former star of her show, to come back. But there’s one obstacle in her way—one very handsome, broad-shouldered obstacle…

Professor Mason Mitchell is head of the theater department where Alex is studying “real” acting. The only way he’ll let Faith anywhere near Alex is if she agrees to co-teach a class. It’s an offer she can’t refuse—and as it turns out, the professor just might end up teaching Faith that there’s more to life than work—and that real-life love scenes are way more fun than fake ones….

Here’s the official blurb:

When it comes to love she’s a professional skeptic. Is it too late for a career change?

If there’s one thing Georgiana Down is an expert in it’s bad relationships. That’s what inspired her blog Down on Love where she gives snarky advice–usually along the lines of “dump him.” In fact George is abstaining from men all together. At least that’s the plan–until she makes a trip back to her tiny hometown in the Catskills where meddling is an art form. . .

George loves helping out with her new baby niece but she’s counting the days until she returns to Boston. Then she runs into Casey Bowen her high school crush. The boy she once loved is now a handsome grown man–and suddenly George needs a little advice of her own. She’s in the right place because when she drunk posts on her blog everyone in Marsden has something to say about George and Casey. It’s like high school all over again–but maybe this time she’ll get things right. . .

Is It November Yet?

Is It November Yet?

I never thought I’d say this, but I can’t wait for November to get here. What? Bypass October in all its Northeastern multihued glory? Skip the trip to the pumpkin patch? the falling leaves? the mayhem that is trick-or-treating in my village (a 15-bags-of-candy-night at minimum)? a whole month’s worth of pumpkin spice lattes?

Well, yeah…except maybe the pumpkin spice lattes. But no, even those. Because my third book, Down on Love, comes out November 21. I’m so excited for this release, especially because over the past couple of weeks my small-town rom com has gotten some really nice advance reviews. Check ’em:

Tome Tender (4 out of 5 stars): “[The small town of] Marsden puts the ‘M’ in meddling. [A] fabulously funny, heart warming story with characters that you want to call friends.”

StarAngel (4 1/2 out of 5 stars): “What a wonderful heartfelt story….I never wanted this book to end because there were so many ‘Ahhh’ moments.”

The Chiq Blog* (5 out of 5 stars): “Fantabulous!…Read this book now!”

* Chiquita also graced me with my first animated GIF in a review—eeee! And the GIF was from Friends! Double plus good!

Anyway, I realize November 21 is quite a long way away, but if you’re so inclined, there’s always the magic of preordering…! Links are here for your ebook of choice. In the meantime, I’ll be over here, under a blazing orange tree and a brilliant blue sky, guzzling a pumpkin spice latte and marking the days off on the calendar… 🙂

Exciting! 4.5 Rating from Tome Tender for Unscripted!

Standard

Heyyy look at that—Tome Tender gives Unscripted a 4.5 out of 5 and calls it “a very funny, very sweet story” and “a completely enchanting, entertaining and wonderful read.” Beth writes, “It had me laughing out loud and rooting for the quirky Faith till the end” and, really, that’s the highest praise of all, because it’s all I want my books to do—inspire a few laughs.

Thanks, Beth at Tome Tender!

If I haven’t mentioned it yet (ahem!), Unscripted publishes August 1. You can get it at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and iTunes. So please do!
